For 30 years, I worked in the aging field and, for a few of those I was a consultant with a firm called AgeComm. My daughter was sad when I stopped using vanity plates on my MiniCooper three years ago.
The fact that I am now an older American keeps that interest alive. I am retired. I write. I paint. I travel. I think a lot about aging and what it means to be older in this country.
At some point, I’ll finish that memoir and exhibit my watercolors. In the meantime, I’ll think of some new blog topics.
